About Us

We are always upfront, with no hidden small print, that's why you'll find our T&Cs laid out in simple, easy to understand terms.

We believe our four customer promises set us apart from the rest.

Customer service:
From our sales office team to our partner carrier drivers, we'll ensure the level of service you receive is second to none. This means that we will do everything possible to not let you down with enthusiasm and a 'can do' attitude you've every right to expect.

Clear competitive pricing:
We keep our pricing clear and straightforward and we will do everything possible to ensure we are the most competitive available. If you do find a comparable product (including delivery) at a better price, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us and we will see what we can do.

Fast delivery:
Waiting in all day for a delivery is a thing of the past, on the day of delivery we'll email and text you a precise 1 hour delivery window. As everybody's commitments are different, if the delivery hour slot is not convenient, we'll make it easy for you to add instructions or rearrange the delivery - all at no extra charge.

Upfront, no hidden catches:
Honesty is always our policy, so we'll give you clear commitments and genuine offers.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

All the prices include VAT and exclude delivery.
We regularly do price comparisons against our competitors so you don’t have to. We aim to ensure that our prices are the most competitive available, If you do find a comparable product (including delivery) at a better price, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us and we will see what we can do.

Website info:
By this we mean things like product images, colour charts, coverage etc. All product details are taken from the manufacturers specifications (i.e. back of the can) and are passed on in good faith. We do our very best to get them 100% accurate, but given we are human we do very occasionally get it wrong. If we do we'll put it right and apologise sincerely. Because of the natural nature of wood, all colour charts are given as guidance only, always test a sample of the product to confirm compatibility and the final colour.

All items listed on our website are kept in stock and ready for immediate despatch. Stock availability is updated daily, if we sell out of an item or we get this wrong we will tell you as soon as we know and we will somehow sort it out for you.

Legal contract:
A legal contract is formed between us when we despatch your order for delivery to you. Legally until then we can decline to supply the goods to you but we don't understand why we would want to do that.

We do however, in the interests of fairness, reserve the right not to fulfil your order for any reason if we have made an error on the price or similar or we simply can't get hold of the product you need. In the event of these circumstances we will refund you in full.

Delivery Schedule

We use the most innovative market leading couriers in the business who deliver to every UK postcode Including Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland. Along with their sister company DPD this extends to all mainland Europe. They have an incredible delivery success rate that we are very proud of and a will to deliver that exceeds their competitors. All products leave us in A1 Brand new condition, packed to the highest standard in bespoke packaging.

However, as you can imagine in exceptional circumstances an items may be received dented but the product perfectly usable. In this instance we would be happy to offer a partial refund, if in the unlikely event the product has leaked and is unusable, either a full refund will be given or Free of Charge replacement goods sent immediately.

Occasionally something will happen out of our control that closes roads, like extreme weather. In this event we’ll do what we can to get your order to you ASAP, we will notify of the delay by Email or Text and keep you up to date as to its progress.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

You can pay with most types of Credit or Debit card including Maestro, Delta, MasterCard or Visa card, unfortunately American Express is not accepted, there is no additional charge for card payment. All Payments are processed independently by our secure payment provider Sellerdeck Payments, Bank – approved security complying fully with Payment Card Industry Security Standard (PCI DSS Level 1). We also accept PayPal payment on all online orders.

For your card payment to be approved, please ensure the Invoice address entered is the registered card address, an alternative delivery address can easily be entered if you are working away from home. If there are any problems with receiving payment we'll let you know the next working day.


We offer a 30 day no fuss returns guarantee. This means that you can send back your order for any reason within 30 days of us delivering it. You'll get a full refund for the product less any delivery charge we incurred if supplied with free delivery. The product must be received back in its original packaging, hasn't been used and is resaleable.

Privacy Policy

In this privacy policy, "we" and "our" relates to Rest Express (, company number 2024548 a company registered in England and Wales.
"You" and "your" relates to the natural person reading this document that is: considering purchasing, has purchased from Rest Express or is making an enquiry.

We will use the personal information you supply to us in the course of submitting an order for the purpose of fulfilling that order.

After your purchase, we use a third party customer feedback service to send you an email and request for your feedback, which you may choose to leave. The feedback is held on the customer feedback service's website and on our website. The service provider we use is Feefo.
We will make our reasonable endeavours to ensure that all third parties treat your personal data in a legal and appropriate way.
We endeavour not to transfer the data of EU citizens outside the EU but where we cannot avoid it we will only do so via a third party that have conformed to all of the appropriate EU legislation providing equivalent protection to that if the data was retained within the EU.

We hold the personal data that you supplied in the course of placing your order or enquiry.
The data normally consists of: product information, transactional information, fraud checking information, name, address, phone number, email, special delivery instructions and potentially other information to ensure the successful completion of your order.
We may hold notes of our communication with you through different channels including, but not limited to: email, live chat, CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) and phone.
We will not seek personal information from you relating to race, religion, political affiliation, trade union membership, sexual orientation, medical or genetic history and we ask you not to provide such information to us under any circumstances.

We will retain the personal information you supply to us in the course of submitting an order or an enquiry, for the purpose of fulfilling that order, responding to or processing that enquiry.
If you place an order, we will retain an electronic copy of your invoice data for the period required by HMRC, after which we will delete it.

Returns Policy

We hope you will be happy with your purchase, but we do offer a 30 day no fuss returns guarantee - after all, 98% of our customers via Feefo rate our service Good or Excellent. You'll get a full refund for the product less any delivery charge we incurred if supplied with free delivery, items should be returned unopened and unused.

Return costs are at your own expense, please ensure all items are well packed and a trackable carrier service is used with adequate compensation, as all returned items must arrive in A1 saleable condition.
